Born in Newfoundland, Canada, Victor Browne spent his childhood traveling throughout the world as one of eight children in an Air Force family. Moving from bases in the Philippines to stations throughout the U.S., the one consistent thread in his life was that he was always interested in acting. He appeared in community theater productions while majoring in business at Georgia State University in Atlanta. After graduation, Browne moved to New York City to study with David Gideon of the Strasberg Institute.

Browne launched his career in daytime drama, appearing for almost two years in a regular role on One Life to Live, as “Drew Buchannan.” He went on to star as a series regular on the WB’s Rescue 77, playing the role of “Michael Bell.” He has also guest starred on numerous television series, including HBO’s Sex & the City, Charmed for the WB, Lost, CSI:NY, and Beverly Hills 90210.

Browne’s feature film credits include a starring role in the Phillip Roth feature, Mindstorm, and the critically-acclaimed independent film I Shot Andy Warhol, in which he played one of Warhol’s assistants. He also appeared paired with Cindy Crawford in a cameo role in the Miramax film 54.
